| As a member, you receive the following
benefits through the Travel Assistance Program when you are traveling
more then 100 miles from your permanent residence.
All medical services are provided based on medical necessity,
which is determined by the Program Medical Advisor
in collaboration with the eligible member’s attending physician.
Assistance Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year,
worldwide.
Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation. If a member suffers an illness
or injury while traveling over 100 miles away from home, and cannot
be treated by a local medical facility, the member is transported
by the most appropriate means to the nearest hospital capable
of providing necessary treatment.
